HERITAGE SPORTS has always considered common sense and good judgment in assessing all client interactions, questions and claims. We have included the following rules for consideration and as a guide to decision making.

1. In this section you will find information on our policies and the conditions for wagering online or by phone. By registering and wagering you indicate your full acceptance and understanding of all of these rules. If you have any questions concerning our policies and the conditions for wagering, please contact our Customer Service department.

2. All transactions and wagers are to be considered originating from and governed by the laws of Costa Rica. Any person residing in the Country of Costa Rica is prohibited from becoming a member of HERITAGE SPORTS.

3. Laws regarding gaming vary throughout the world. Gambling may be unlawful in some jurisdictions, and it is the responsibility of members to ensure that they understand and comply fully with any laws or regulations relevant to themselves in their own Country. All members of HERITAGE SPORTS must be at least 18 years of age.

4. HERITAGE SPORTS reserves the right to void any transaction(s) made by a person under the age of full legal responsibility.

5. HERITAGE SPORTS does not report any winnings or losses to any government agency. It is the responsibility of members to report any wagering income to the appropriate governmental agencies. It is the responsibility of each member to pay any applicable taxes. HERITAGE SPORTS does not withhold taxes.

6. All members of HERITAGE SPORTS must acknowledge and agree that all wagers placed via the telephone are saved on an audio recording system. In case of disputes, the recording will be played and the wager as confirmed on the recording will be deemed as final. All online transactions will be saved onto a file and the file will be saved on a back-up system. In all cases of dispute, both management and the player agree that the backed-up file shall serve as the final authority in the dispute and all wagers will be adjusted accordingly. Claims must be submitted within 48 hours from the time the wager was made.

7. HERITAGE SPORTS reserves the right to request valid documentation from a customer to confirm their identity. Clients opening an account with HERITAGE SPORTS agree to provide, on demand, the necessary documents: valid ID and copy of a utility bill with the client’s name for proof of address. The identification document must be a government issued ID (Copy of driver’s license or state ID) and a copy of a utility bill with the client's name for proof of address. Failure to supply this information may cause the suspension of the account and may affect the release of funds.

8. All accounts must have a correct contact phone number, e-mail address and physical address listed in their account information. If there is a change of address, please notify HERITAGE SPORTS within 30 days and provide an ID or utility bill with the new address. Use of invalid contact information may lead to possible forfeiture of any/all winnings and bonuses.

9. HERITAGE SPORTS reserves the right at any time to adjust or refuse any wager or transaction, in the interest of correcting a human or technical error, or any fraudulent intent of the member as interpreted by HERITAGE SPORTS.

10. HERITAGE SPORTS reserves the right to adjust the limits and/or suspend wagering privileges on any individual account without prior written or verbal notice.

11. Any accounts that have been suspended or cancelled by HERITAGE SPORTS must have prior management approval to reactivate their account. If it is determined that a previously banned player has opened an additional account or gains access to another account through false or misleading information, that party risks forfeiture of all funds.

12. All accounts inactive after 365 days are deemed closed and account balances are forfeited.

13. Any customer that is to be deemed betting as part of a syndicate or betting group risks account closure and forfeiture of all account winnings.

14. HERITAGE SPORTS reserves the right to close a client's account at any time without prior notification and/or further explanation.

15. HERITAGE SPORTS requires all funds to be posted prior to any wagering. Furthermore, no credit may be issued by any employee of HERITAGE SPORTS. It is the responsibility of the client to maintain sufficient funds to place any wager(s). All account balances and transactions are in U.S. Dollars.

16. Each client is responsible for maintaining the secrecy of his/her betting account number and password, and should make every effort to prevent the use of his/her personal account number, and password by any third party. Any transactions entered with the account holder's account number and password will be considered an official transaction. If a client suspects a third party may have his/her account number and password, the client must contact HERITAGE SPORTS and change his/her password. 
Upon signup, each client is required to submit a secondary password used for account changes and withdrawals. This secondary password must be used to change a wagering password or request a withdrawal or transfer of funds from his/her account. Should a member give away, share or lose his or her account number and/or password, HERITAGE SPORTS will not be held liable for any claims regarding that account.

17. Accounts with aggregate winnings of more than $5,000 are considered to be playing on 'house money'. Customers deemed to be playing with 'house money' may not be eligible for special promotions or perks provided by HERITAGE SPORTS.

18. All new accounts are subject to a period of review, and during this time, they may not be eligible to participate in specific promotions offered by HERITAGE SPORTS.

19. Internet wagers must be placed through the user interface provided by HERITAGE SPORTS. Any internet wagering through other means, including the use of a 'robot' player or by manipulation of our systems, is strictly forbidden. If it is deemed that a robot was utilized or the use of non-approved client software is detected, the offending party risks forfeiture of funds and Management reserves the right to invalidate all such wagers retroactively, cancel the player's account, or take any other appropriate action. HERITAGE SPORTS will employ the services of a 3rd party provider to make a determination where foul play is suspected.

20. If a player believes that HERITAGE SPORTS has posted an erroneous line or schedule, the player should notify HERITAGE SPORTS immediately to verify if the line and/or schedule are correct.

21. Immediately upon discovery, wagers placed on an event with an obviously mistaken line resulting from human or technical error will be graded as “No Action”. If a wager with an erroneous line is not voided before the event begins, HERITAGE SPORTS reserves the right to remedy the odds to a fair market price which would have been available at the time the wager was placed. This price adjustment may be applied during or after an event.

22. A bet made after an event begins, based on occurrences that have developed while in-play, is considered a 'past-post' and therefore invalid. The same applies for all horse bets, as they must be placed before post time or else are invalid. This also applies for all regular games and any live wagering events. All events intended for in-play offering will be noted as such on the wagering option.

23. HERITAGE SPORTS reserves the right to reverse the incorrect application of funds into an account due to human or system/software error. Additional funds that were not intended to be credited into a customer's account will be reverted upon discovery of the inaccuracy. Any additional earnings from those funds are subject to voiding/forfeiture.

24. At HERITAGE SPORTS, we strive to treat our clients with the respect and courtesy they deserve. We also require that our clients reciprocate the gesture to our employees. Any abusive language or treatment via phone, chat or e-mail will cause immediate termination of the Heritage account and all remaining funds will be refunded to the account holder.

25. We reserve the right to limit the number of times a client may participate in a promotion. Identity of participants will be determined on the basis of all or any combination of the following: Name, mailing address, e-mail address, IP address, credit or debit card number and any forms of identification which may be required.

26. HERITAGE SPORTS has designed its services to protect customer privacy and maintain confidentiality.

27. All transactions are processed in highly secure 128 bit encryption.

28. Time Changes and Injury Reports are unofficial and subject to changes. It is a member's responsibility to question and clarify any event not covered or rules he/she does not understand prior to placing any wagers.

29. Any wagers deemed as correlated may be voided at HERITAGE SPORTS’ discretion. Examples of correlated wagers are but not limited to the following: 
- Team total to a team total in the same game. Includes all quarters and halves in the game. 
- Team total to a run line, money line or total in the same game. 
- Any side or run line/puck line of a quarter, half or game to another side of the same game in a Parlay or any type of If bet.

30. Regardless of the published header, all games and events will have action as long as the two teams/sides are correct. A game/match will also keep action regardless of the ‘League Heading’ and/or ‘League Offering’ that is associated with the matchup. For example, two teams from the same league playing for a Cup; if the matchup is mistakenly placed in the League Offering, the game/match will still have action, as long as the matchup is correct.

31. Information Required. If you choose to register an Account you will be required to provide your full name, address, date of birth, e-mail address and telephone number. If your identity cannot be validated, you may be required to submit additional information or documentation. You will also be required to answer one or more security questions, after which you will be sent a confirmatory e-mail. You may also be required to update the information or data or to provide additional items as part of on-going efforts to prevent illegal and fraudulent activities, and/or to comply with our Anti-Money Laundering policies and protocols.

General Provisions

This privacy policy sets out how The Website uses and protects any information that is submitted to us. We are committed to ensuring the privacy of the information collected through our site. The Website does not intend to collect information, unless you as a visitor choose to provide us the information for communication and/or providing you with ongoing updates.

Banking Rules – Deposits

1. Heritage Sports may adjust or amend the minimum and maximum deposit amounts we accept through any particular method for depositing money into your account.

2. Heritage Sports may limit or prohibit deposits from one particular account to another (account transfers). Account transfers may be deemed to be withdrawals and can affect bonuses.

3. Heritage Sports may modify or restrict the methods for depositing money into your account.

Banking Rules - Withdrawals

1. Withdrawals may be requested Monday to Sunday, from 6am to 10am (Pacific Standard Time). Please note that scheduled times and limits are subject to change. If a request is received out of this time frame, it will be processed the next business day.

2. Heritage Sports uses third party processors who occasionally change requirements without prior notice to Heritage. Valid contact information, including an active e-mail address and phone number, will help us keep you informed of the status of your withdrawal.

3. Before the processing of a withdrawal, all Rollover requirements must be met (see Bonus Rules, rule #11).

4. Withdrawals are only made to the account holder’s name and we may request proof of identity to validate your information.

5. All Deposits must be cleared for 24 hours before a withdrawal request is accepted.

6. If a payout is accepted for an amount that exceeds the stated limits, the delivery time might change. Please contact Customer Service for additional information.

7. Heritage Sports recommends that you settle all checks upon receipt of the physical payment. Heritage Sports does not cover any fees associated with changes or cancellation of payments. All checks must be in the clearing system within two weeks of receipt.

1. Bonuses will only be awarded to account holders who provide a verified name, street address and phone number. All bonuses are in the form of cash unless otherwise specified. Bonuses does not apply to Person to Person deposits, a 5x rollover applies and the maximum bonus amount is $500.

2. New accounts that receive a bonus agree to leave the initial deposit and fees in the account for 30 days. However if any required rollover has been completed, the winnings may be withdrawn. Winnings are the monies in the account in excess of the money deposited including the fees.

3. All Heritage Sports promotions can be used only one time per household.

4. In order to qualify for any bonuses, the minimum deposit must be $100.00. The bonus must be requested at the time of the deposit.

5. Heritage Sports promotions cannot be combined.

6. Bonuses are intended for recreational bettors only for use in the sportsbook. We reserve the right to adjust or rescind bonuses given to players playing principally in the casino. Professional players, syndicate players, or players considered by Heritage Sports to be abusing the bonus system by any means may have their bonuses, and the money won from these bonuses, revoked at the discretion of Heritage Sports management. Call our office for a detailed explanation of what is considered bonus abuse.

7. Any violations of the rules in any offer(s) of Heritage Sports can result in the immediate forfeiture of all bonus funds, and the winnings from the use of these funds as well as the loss of account holder privileges.

8. If it is determined that a new customer already has an account with Heritage Sports, thus abusing our bonus system, Heritage Sports may require the forfeiture of all bonuses and the money won from said bonuses.

9. Heritage Sports reserves the right to terminate or modify any bonus program at any time. Participants agree that prior notice of a modification or termination is not required and no bonus will be paid past the termination or modification date.

10. Heritage Sports reserves the right to charge an Account Closure Fee to any account deemed by Heritage Sports to be a professional, syndicate, non-recreational, or bonus abuser. The Account Closure Fee may vary depending on the case.

11. All clients who receive a bonus must complete their rollover requirement prior to a withdrawal request. The rollover is the amount of times a client must play the total amount of the deposit plus reimbursed fees and bonus. The rollover can only be completed with sportsbook volume.

For example, if you have a five time rollover (5X) and you had sent us $1000.00 with a reimbursed fee of $68.00 and a cash bonus of $100.00, you must complete $5840.00 ($1000 + $68 + $100 X 5 = $5840) in total sports book volume before you can request a withdrawal of your funds.

Sportsbook Volume is defined at Heritage Sports as the lesser of the risk or win amount of each wager. Casinos and free play volume do not count towards this rollover. If the client chooses to withdraw funds from the account before these requirements are fulfilled, all bonuses, fees and winnings from these monies can be forfeited and deducted from the account balance. Winnings will be determined at the sole discretion of Heritage Sports. Acceptance of any bonus from Heritage Sports is considered an agreement to this policy.

Betting both sides of the same game to accelerate the rollover process is considered a violation of our bonus rules. Any wagers placed on both sides will be excluded from the rollover calculations.

12. Once all rollover requirements have been met, payouts can be arranged through a number of different methods. All withdrawals must be sent in the account holder's name.

13. Free Play wagers can be placed over the phone and on the internet for straight wagers and two or three team parlays or teasers. Open spots are not allowed. If the play wins, then only the winning amount will be credited into the players account as CASH. If the play loses, no physical adjustments will be made to the account. If the plays ends in a Push/No Action, then the player gets to play the Free Play again.

Example 1: A client has a $100.00 free play and wishes to use it on the Dallas Cowboys -3 (-110). The wager will be $0.00 to win $91.00. The client lays the virtual $100.00 to win $91.00.

Example 2: A client has a $100.00 free play and wishes to use it on the Atlanta Braves -140. The wager will be $0.00 to win $71.00. The client lays the virtual $100.00 to win $71.00.

Example 3: A client has a $100.00 free play and wishes to make a 3 team football parlay. Our 3 team football parlay odds are 6 to 1. The client lays the virtual $100.00 to win $600.00.

Example 4: A client has a $100.00 free play and wishes to make a 3 team 6 point teaser. The client lays the virtual $100.00 to win $180.00.

14. Bonuses or rebates are not paid on 'house money.' Accounts with aggregate winnings of more than $5,000 are considered to be playing on 'house money.'

15. Bonuses are given to our recreational players with the rollovers calculated using ‘normal' play. If a player receives a bonus and 50% or more of the player's action is on baseball, the rollover will be doubled.

16. If you do not break a deposit on which you received a bonus into at least three relatively equal wagers, the bonus and any winnings can be rescinded.

17. Acceptance of any bonus offered by Heritage Sports constitutes agreement to the conditions applicable with each offering. If you are unclear or require further clarification, contact our Customer Service Department prior to accepting and/or making use of any bonus.

1. The minimum amount accepted for an online wager is $2 for sports and horses. The minimum for a wager placed over the phone is $25 for sports, and $5 for horses, EXCEPT for special promotions.

2. The maximum limit on overnight lines (generally from the last half time or game of the night until we open the next morning) is any combination of wagers totaling no more than $500. Any multiple bets made during this time that exceeds this limit will be deemed as NO ACTION.

3. a. You can select any one team up to ONLY 3 times on your parlay and teaser combinations. Players, please keep a record of your team selections. If you select the same team (or total) in more than 3 parlays AND/OR Teasers, we can make ALL of your wagers involving that team or total a NO ACTION.

b. Open Parlays/Teasers must be filled within 90 days after being placed. Heritage Sports reserves the right to cancel any parlays that remain open after 90 days.

4. Maximum payout per bet type:

1.  On Parlays, Almost Parlays, Teasers and Pleasers, the maximum payout is $50,000 per bet type.
2. On Round Robins, the maximum payout will be considered for the WHOLE group of Parlays and not for each Parlay, in other words, a max of $50,000 will be paid on any Round Robin.
3. A maximum of $50,000 is paid out on any Round Robin or combination of Round Robins using more than 50% of the same teams as in another Round Robin or combination of Round Robins.
4. On Multi Props, the maximum payout is $50,000.

5. When wagering on the internet, clients are solely responsible for their own account transactions. Please make sure to review your wagers for any mistakes before confirming them. It is the member's responsibility to write down the ticket number as confirmation of a wager made online. Without this number, Heritage Sports is not responsible for wagers not confirmed in the system. All accounts that use the internet to place wagers must have a valid e-mail address on file. Failure to have a valid e-mail address may result in the account being frozen or closed.
6. If the client has made a mistake entering a play, the play can be deleted if:

1. The mistake is reported no more than 10 minutes from the time the wager was placed.
2. The line has not changed.
3. The wagered event has not yet begun.
4. There is no new information on player(s), coaches, weather, or referees that may have an effect on the outcome of the event.

7. It is the client's responsibility to check and confirm their account balance on their first call of the day. If the client has a discrepancy, it is their responsibility to ask the wagering agent to review their plays, or to be transferred to a Customer Service Representative to review their financial transactions.

8. The client must provide his/her account number and password on each and every call.

9. All read backs are final if placing a bet by phone. Upon completion of your wager(s), the wagering agent will read all wagers back to the client. The client is required to state their wagering account number and password to confirm that all wagers recorded by the wagering agent are correct. Please listen carefully to the read back. It is the clients responsibility to correct any errors during the read back. In the event a customer does not hear the read back due to technical difficulties (disconnections, static, etc.) it is the client's responsibility to call back immediately to confirm his/her wager(s), or all wagers will be accepted as the wagering agent entered them.

10. All account discrepancies must be reported within two (2) days of the date of the possible error.

11. Heritage Sports reserves the right to charge a $25 fee in the event of customer abuse of claims and/or research privileges.

12. Some telephone wagers (e.g. IF bets) may be limited due to "crunch time".

13. Propositional wagers, halftime wagers and quarter wagers are offered to our recreational players as an enhancement to their wagering experience. Heritage Sports reserves the right to limit or exclude players having an excessive percentage of their action on these types of wagers.

14. A significantly correlated parlay is a bet that is tied into another, where if one bet wins, the odds of the other winning is increased. We do not allow significantly correlated parlays, but in some cases the system may allow the bet to be placed. Management maintains the right to void wagers placed in violation of these rules.

The generally applied parameters for a significantly correlated parlay in Football are as follows:

(1) Full game spread exceeds 8% of the full game total.
(2) First or Second Half spread exceeds 7% or the half time total.

The generally applied parameters for a significantly correlated parlay in Basketball are as follows:

(1) Full game spread exceeds 30% of the full game total.
(2) First or Second Half spread exceeds 25% or the half time total.

15. Heritage Sports reserves the right to terminate or modify any rules, regulations, wagers or any type of policy at any time prior to any written or verbal notice.

16. Heritage Sports makes the access to our online casino available to its members. When playing in the casino, it is reasonable to expect 5% losses of your total casino wagering activities.

17. All decisions are at the sole discretion of Heritage Sports and all decisions of Heritage Sports are final.

18. All future wagers are graded and credited upon completion of the event or season. For example, a wager on the Red Sox to go Over 90 wins for the season will be graded after full completion of the scheduled event, or if the outcome of the wager has already been determined.

Heritage Sports offers over 60 tracks for Thoroughbred & Harness racing.

We take action on Win, Place and Show wagers, also Exactas, Quinellas, Trifectas, Superfectas, Daily Doubles and Pick 3s, any and all of these If offered by the track.

• The minimum wager for racebook wagers on the Internet is $2. Over the phone the minimum wager is $5. The maximum amount depends on the track you are wagering on.
• Once bets are placed and confirmed, they may not be changed or canceled in any way.
• The Racebook System automatically takes the races off the board when the race begins, therefore, if you have a confirmed ticket, generally you will have action on the race. This holds true for both internet and call center.
• Post times are available upon request. For thoroughbreds and harness racing we take into account the whole minute for your bet. Example: If the race is off at 12:05, and your ticket was placed at 12:05 (and any second on that minute, up to :59), your wager will have action. If your ticket was placed at 12:06 your wager will NOT have action. For Quarter Horse wagering we will rely solely on our System's Off Time as official time.
• In all events that a winning horse's name corresponds with the official record, we will pay out the wager made on the named horse. In the event that the horse's name does not correspond with the official record, we reserve the right to hold back a payout, pending a review.
• After management verifies the results of the race, if it is found that the wager was past-posted, your wager will then be disqualified from any winnings, and your original bet will be placed back in your account.
• When you wager on a horse that is coupled, your wager includes all horses running under said number. If a horse is coupled with others, if you bet on any of them, you receive all horses running as part of the entry. If part of an entry is scratched and part of an entry runs, all wagers have action. There is no "must go" action as part of the entry. If one of the entry horses runs, all wagers and bet types have action.
• For Daily Doubles and Pick 3's we use the same rules and payouts as the track regarding consolations and ALL's when there are early and late scratches. All normal tracks limits are still applicable.
• There are no house odds. If there are no track payoffs for a certain type of wager, all wagers on that type will be refunded.
• If a horse is inadvertently shown as scratched in our wagering menu but runs there will be no refunds given for any wagers made in said race.
• If a horse runs for Purse Money Only, we follow the track payout rules as determined by the host track.
• If a track is in our betting menu, or a wager type is available that is not listed on these Racebook Rules the Maximum Net Profits on these will default to $500.
